Unlocking a Brighter Future for Northern Ireland: EPIC Futures NI Strategy Day
EPIC Futures NI is on a mission to shape a thriving and sustainable future for Northern Ireland. With a place-based focus, the partnership unites academia, policymakers, businesses, and the community and voluntary sectors. Together, we aim to create evidence-based solutions to fair and inclusive employment across Northern Ireland.
The recent Local Policy Innovation Partnership Strategy Day was an inspiring milestone, with thirty partners from central government departments, policy, academia, and the community & voluntary sector coming together to ignite fresh ideas, strengthen collaborations, and craft new, dynamic ways of working. The day was packed with valuable discussions, research insights, and forward-thinking plans, all focused on building stronger relationships and better solutions.
From unveiling the latest research findings to engaging roundtable discussions on everything from the policy commissioning call to stakeholder engagement, the day was a vibrant space for shared learning, idea generation, and relationship building. It was the perfect environment to tackle both challenges and opportunities while learning from diverse perspectives.
Kristel Miller, the Principal Investigator for EPIC Futures NI, shared her excitement about the future:
